Fraport increases Lima airport stake

Fraport has acquired an additional 10% stake in Lima Airport Partners (LAP), the consortium operating Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru, from AC Capitales’ Infrastructure Fund.

Following the transaction, Fraport will increase its stake in LAP to 80.01% from 70.01%.

LAP’s concession to operate Jorge Chavez started in 2001, when throughput at the airport was 4.1 million passengers.

In 2018, traffic swelled to about 22.1 million passengers, up 7.3% year-on-year.
