Incheon wins in Kuwait tender

Incheon International Airport has won a concession to manage a terminal building at Kuwait International Airport.

With a bid of $128 million, the operator of South Korea’s largest international airport fended off competition from France’s Groupe ADP and Germany’s Fraport to operate the terminal through 2023.

The terminal, scheduled to open in August, is designed for use by the state-backed Kuwait Airways, with annual passenger capacity of 4.5 million.
