KfW providing loan to Sweden

KfW Ipex-Bank and Swedavia, the state-owned company that owns and operates 10 of Sweden’s busiest airports, have signed a €190 million ($215 million) loan agreement for financing and development of state-owned airports, mainly Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Swedavia is investing approximately €1.7 billion by 2025 in the development of Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Swedavia is carrying out climate transformation measures at all 10 state-owned airports, including the use of green electricity and biofuel to replace oil heating of airport buildings, as well as several other energy-efficiency measures.
